Diablo IV FAQ
Short answers to what new and returning players ask most, each linked to the page that covers it in full.
How many classes does Diablo IV have now?
Eight. Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue and Necromancer come with the base game; Spiritborn arrived with Vessel of Hatred; Paladin and Warlock arrived with Lord of Hatred.
See the class comparisonWhich expansion do I need for the new classes?
Paladin and Warlock belong to Lord of Hatred, and buying that expansion also includes Vessel of Hatred. New players should buy the Age of Hatred Collection instead of buying pieces separately.
Compare editions and priceWhat is Diablo V and when does it come out?
BlizzCon 2026 gave the first look at Diablo V with a Spring 2029 window, plus a Netflix animated series in development. It is a new game, not a Diablo IV expansion.
Read the BlizzCon recapWhen did season 15 start?
Season of Hell's Legacy started on 15 September 2026. It is the 30th anniversary season, and Blizzard has not announced an end date.
Season timing and mechanicsWhat should I do about 'Game servers are not available'?
Check Blizzard's server status and official announcements first: during a season launch or maintenance, waiting is the only fix. If there is no outage, work through drivers, network and platform licence checks. Reinstalling the game rarely helps.
See the fix orderHow much disk space does it need?
The Steam store page asks for 90 GB of available space and marks an SSD as required. Expansions and high-resolution texture packs push the real footprint higher.
